What if you can do a selfless act in exchange for fulfilling a personal dream?

This year, we’ve found a bolder and louder way of paying it forward. As Christmas is nearly approaching, we’re here to announce a way for you to be a Santa to Filipino kids this season, without all the fuss and with more fun.

With the price hike of goods due to the recent inflation, more Filipino children sleep hungry and are not getting the basic nourishment they need. Recent studies show that there are 3.3 million children in the country who are malnourished, with an estimated 1.5 million kids who do not eat a meal all day. So while all we worry about is what present we’re giving each other for Christmas, these kids worry about how to feed themselves from day to day, a necessity that all of us should have access to.

But now is the time to change that reality. This year, a part of Save the Children Philippines’ NURTURE project (Nutrition among Urban Poor Through Unified Response) is the Lahat Dapat campaign, a donation drive to feed the children and eradicate malnutrition. For every PHP500 donation, you can purchase a limited-edition bandana, and for every P1,000 donation not only will you get a bandana but also a 10-second spot on the LED Billboard of Market Market in C5, and in EDSA Orense or EDSA Paragon of your photo wearing the bandana. Your photo will also be flashed in 700 AdMov LED screens in Grab cars everywhere. In exchange, the money collected will be used to feed children under 5-years-old in identified areas in Navotas City.

The campaign will run from October 25 – December 7, 2018, while your photos will be flashed on the biggest billboard in Metro Manila from December 16-23, 2018.

There will also be a Photo Contest for the pictures that the donators will be sending. Save the Children Philippines will be looking for the most unique/original selfie/groufie, selfie/groufie taken farthest from Manila, most stylish selfie/groufie, best-themed, biggest groufie, and most popular selfie/groufie. Judging will be based on the number of likes and shares in their Facebook Page.

You may send your donations to their site and your photos on their Facebook Page, or you may visit their booths in locations listed on their pages.

Now, you can fulfill anyone’s lifelong dream; to have their faces upon an EDSA billboard and for only PHP1,000. The best news? There’s no cap to your donations, so you can send as much as your heart’s desire and hoard enough 10 seconds to be up there for a few minutes. Just enough time to let your friends see and be baffled.
