It’s official. The internet is obsessed with cats.
A few days ago, I was scrolling through articles, pages, and photos of cats, you know, the usual, when I stumbled upon this Tumblr page called “The Kitten Covers”. Well, they may say that curiosity killed the cat, but in my case, it led me to these legendary albums recreated with kittens.
Yup, I’m talking about Billy Joel’s The Stranger, Footloose, The Strokes’ Is This It and a lot more. All of them are transformed into kitten-starred album covers that will surely entertain even non-cat and non-music lovers. Here are some examples below.
The mastermind behind all these feline-dominated legendary album parodies is Alfra Martini, a musician and rock poster collector himself. His love for music, cover art and not to mention, cats inspired him to start these a-meow-sing images.
As we’ve seen, when put together, creativity and cats can crack up the internet.
