The sequel to the widely loved Disney superhero film The Incredibles is already 15 years in the making, and it’s ~finally~ coming to theaters this year.
Since the world got news of The Incredibles 2 being in the works, fans of the film have been itching to get information on what to expect from the upcoming animated film. Earlier this week, Disney gave fans exactly what they wanted.
They just released the official list of cast members and a few new characters to watch out for in The Incredibles 2.
The voices of Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Violet Parr (Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, and Sarah Vowell, respectively) will be reprising their roles for the sequel. Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Frozone, and writer-director Brad Bird, who voices Edna Mode, will also be returning.
As for the new characters, we’ll be introduced to siblings Winston Deavor and Evelyn Deavor (voiced by Bob Odenkirk and Catherine Keener). Winston, who heads a telecommunication company, is a fan of superheroes and aims to help them get back into the public’s eye through positive perception. Evelyn is a tech genius who can pretty much solve any problem thrown her way. Could they be the new supervillains? We’ll soon find out.

A new superhero will also be joining the sequel. Voiced by Sophia Bush, Voyd is a huge fan of Elastigirl and can make objects appear and disappear at will by creating voids.
There’s definitely a lot more to watch out for once The Incredibles 2 premieres in theaters! June 15 could not come any sooner.
