Sandara Park, or Dara, may be a full-blooded Korean but she’s truly a Filipino at heart.
The K-Pop singer and actress may be a huge name now in South Korea, but we all know that she first got a taste of her showbiz career when she became a finalist in the local TV singing competition Star Circle Quest. She was then dubbed as the “Pambansang Krungkrung ng Pilipinas.”
While we all loved Dara even before she became a K-Pop icon, she’s definitely giving us new reasons to love her even more.
In an Instagram post, Dara shares about being part of the Philippine Women’s Month which was celebrated in South Korea:

Dara has been named as the newest symbol of Philippine-Korea relations, and she very much deserves to be!

Aside from greatly contributing to the entertainment industry back when she was still in the Philippines (and even now with a few appearances on local shows), Dara even shared about the beauty of the Philippines when she guested on a show in South Korea.
In an episode of the South Korean show Battle Trip where celebrities go on an actual trip and battle out the best experiences, Dara chose to visit Coron, Palawan!
