27 years since the death of Ferdinand Marcos and 44 years since the declaration of Martial Law in the country, the late dictator continues to live in the memory of the nation he ruled; venerated and valorized by loyalists, but vilified and reviled by activists.

UP POLITICA presents Life After Death: A Forum on the Effects of Martial Law on Today’s Political Scenery.

Join us this September 15, 4-7PM at the Main Library Lobby as we attempt to shed light on this issue. Aside from the forum proper, there will also be an EXHIBIT that will feature the effects of Martial Law.

This event, in collaboration with the Bantayog ng mga Bayani, was made possible in partnership with our co-presentor The UP Repertory Company, major partner UP Circulo Hispanico (UP CI), minor partners Union of Journalists of the Philippines – UP Diliman (UJP-UPD), UP Children’s Rights Advocates League (UP CRAdLe), UP Speech Communication Association (UP SPECA) and UP Kalipunan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Sosyolohiya (UP KMS) and our media partners WhenInManila.com and DZUP Radio Circle.
