The Kylie Lip Kit is now available in Manila at Kissed PH!

Kylie Jenner came out with her Kylie Lip Kits late last year and they have been so hard to purchase ever since (even though she restocks almost every two weeks).

I have been wanting to purchase one myself, but I refuse to have them shipped to my address in America and then shipped over to Manila because it would be like paying for two lip kits that way. I also refuse to have it directly shipped to Manila because, you know: customs and the horror stories I’ve heard from my friends.

So, one day, I started looking for a reseller in the Philippines and lo and behold, there were a lot of them. Some were even selling them for more than Php3,000, so I did searched some more until I finally found a reseller who was selling these lip kits at a reasonable price.

I contacted Kissed PH and was able to get my hands on Dolce K (which was the only shade that she had in stock at the time). Christine, the owner of Kissed PH is based in Cebu, so she had to ship my item via JRS express and it took approximately 2 days before it arrived at my doorstep, which was fast.

I opened the courier bag and was met with the Kylie Lip Kit box (something that you can request for at a first come, first serve basis + shipping cost), as well as the card that normally comes with every lip kit order on kyliecosmetics.com

Packaging wise, it was beautifully presented – edgy but classy with Kylie’s signature black drips on the lipstick tube, as well as her famous signature.

It’s been dubbed a lip kit because you get the liquid lipstick and the matching lip liner for Php2,500.

Dolce K is a muted brown color that looks amazing on all types of skin tones, especially on light to medium skin as seen in the photo below.

Texture wise some people say that it’s drying, but after trying it on for a couple hours it did not flake or peel off my lips unlike the matte lipsticks from Colourpop that flaked off my lips after 4 hours of wear. In fact, the swatch photo you see above was so hard to remove and I was already using an oil-based makeup remover to take it off.

Kissed PH also carries Kylie’s other lip products, such as her lip gloss and metal lipstick range. The lipgloss is priced at Php1,500 while the metal lipsticks are available for Php1,700.
