Banana Beach Tagum: An Unexpected Paradise Resort

Banana Beach Tagum: An Unexpected Paradise Resort

I went to Davao for about a week recently (click here to read my post on my Cebu Pacific flight to Davao) and the minute my flight landed, my Kuya, my nephew and I wolfed down some lunch and then went on a road trip to Tagum, where Banana Beach Tagum is located.

To be perfectly honest, I didn’t know what to expect. Having come from Manila, though, I did expect a long ride; and having visited the outskirts of Davao once in the past, I also expected a lot of where-are-we?!?? moments. Neither of that happened, though.

To our surprise, Tagum was just about an hour away from Davao City and the best part is: we didn’t get lost on the way to the resort! Hallelujah! Since we started our road trip pretty late, we got to Banana Beach Tagum pretty late in the evening. However, despite the lateness of the day, we were in for a pleasant surprise for the room was so much more than we bargained for!

Not only did our room look great from the outside, with a porch to lounge around in, it was also incredibly spacious – much too big for me, my brother and my nephew, that’s for sure!

Since there were literally so many beds to go around, I was able to sleep on the biggest bed all on my lonesome. The sheets were white, clean, crisp and crunchy and I actually slept for more than 10 hours on it – almost missing the delectable breakfast the morning after.

The second bed had a pull-out mattress underneath and this is the bed that the boys shared. They actually fought for this one because the TV was right in front of it.

The bathroom was very clean and very spacious, too, filled with little details that made the place all the more loveable.

Super cute Banana Beach Tagum shampoo and conditioner tandem!

I didn’t think it was possible, but in the morning, the room looked even better! I remember thinking that I never wanted to leave that paradise resort. Or, at the very least, I’d be back more than once to enjoy it all over again.

This is what the ceiling looked like, by the way. I’m all about the details.
