Tired of the same old cocktail with the same old crowd with the same old mediocre food. I personally love Rocket Room in BGC. When my friends from out of town ask: Where’s a good place to chill with good music, eat good food & drink something new it’s always: Rocket Room.
My friends came in from south of the Philippines. They’d tell me about these awesome places from their center of culture in the heart of their region and I told them we have those places here as well. They’ve had this constant vision of Manila as the center of commercialization. With fast food everywhere and multi million peso franchises sprawling in every corner of Manila: Nothing that they haven’t seen before, nothing new.
Rocket Room is located in Bonifacio High street (the newest extension at 7th ave) right in front of Jamba Juice and right beside Stella, which is also a venture of Rocket Room. Stella was where you eat dinner and converse with your friends. Once you enter Rocket Room though, you’d be transported into a world of cocktails and good vibes. Stella  describes itself as a “A fresh & simple point of view & magically roasted & fired up.”
Why do we recommend Rocket Room in BGC?
5. The atmosphere transports you into a different era.
Stella restaurant which is right next door is fully lit. Beautiful fresh interiors and a homey feel but when you enter the door of Rocket Room, you’ll be taken away to a dimly lit room with good vibes. The ambient lighting is really cool and candles everywhere contributes to it. 
I find that atmosphere is incredibly important when it comes to bars as it dictates the mood of the person. Rocket Room is a place to catch up with your friends, bring your date for a post-dinner rendezvous and listen to good music (They have different djs who spin each day, take your pick at which decade you’d want to reminisce to)
4. Their appetizers are a star on its own.
They have a wide selection of food from Stella which they can bring to Rocket Room for your convenience. I would really over use the word “fresh” in this post since everything they serve really is and you can really taste it.
Fried mushroom chips dipped in cream cheese! Light, fresh and definitely preparing you for your entree.
A must try: Crisp Honey Walnut Beef & Arugula. It was such a refreshing salad.
3. Their mains are a new discovery of fusion in your mouth.
I’ve never tasted cream fettuccine with lemon nor chicken with beautiful fresh seaweed inside roasted to perfection. Unusual combinations. I find their menu to be extremely creative.
For your main we recommend the Garlic Mushroom Cream Fettuccine with cream, garlic and fresh lemon (the lemon was amazing! Never had cream pasta with lemon, favorite main dish!)
