After the positive feedbacks of Sinelamdag Film Festival last September 9, 2018, Yen Morales Creative Entertainment company (YMCEP) is now ready to continue what they’ve started as they organize their 2nd Sinelamdag Film Festival this December 7-9, 2019.Â
In 2018, SFF catered a total of 84 artists throughout SOX which produced 7 short films namely: Oversight; Lantang Rosas; Padayon, Hiding Emotion; Mamon which was awarded as Best Production Design, Best Musical Score and Best in Cinematography; Handum which bagged the awards Best Writer, Best Story and Best Director and; Hibi as the Best Film which also bagged the awards Best Actor, Best Sound Design and Best Editing. All covered during its free 24-hour Film Making Workshop during the set date.Â
As mentioned above, SFF 2018 was conducted for SOX artists however, this 2019, YMCEP turns SFF to a bigger audience and will now welcome artists nationwide. Another free 24-hour Film Making Workshop is scheduled on the same date of the Film Fest, however, it is still open for SOX artists. Registration for the workshop is open until November 30, 2019 and will only board limited teams and individuals. First to reserve their slots will be the ones who get the opportunity of the free training. Interested artists may register as a team of 3-4 or as a solo. The Workshop includes sessions in the fields of Acting by Rolando Inocencio; Directing by Arnel Barbarona and; Screen Writing by Tim Rone Villanueva.
