Misto
Aside from their hotel amenities, Seda Abreeza’s in-house restaurant, Misto, also offers a wide range of delicious cuisine. I’m not the biggest fan of raw food but I personally loved their take on the classic “kinilaw.”
One of Misto’s bestsellers is the Crispy Shrimp which is filled with the perfect balance of sweet and sour flavor. The crunch ends with the tenderness of the savory shrimp meat, which challenged my taste buds to extreme pleasures.
The Grilled Salmon was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Served in a picture perfect plating, I hated to slice through the arrangement, but the aroma made me feel less guilty. I just had to dig in.
And to wash everything down, they served me the Healthy Blend, which was made up of fresh cucumber, dalandan, and carrots. Conscience clear!
To end our meal, the staff recommended the Red Velvet with White Chocolate Cheesecake and the Mango Sansrival. Both had the right amount of sweetness with the perfect texture. Indeed, there’s always room for dessert! I didn’t mind the temporary break from the allure of durian, mangosteen, marang and pomelo from the night markets. I need the walk, though. The treadmill beckoned. Or maybe a few laps in the pool. But later, of course, after all the eating settles.
Seda Abreeza Hotel is the perfect example of comfort within the budget. Whether you’re visiting Davao as a curious tourist, a full-time traveler, or a busy business man, Seda Davao is the place to be. It is crisp and convenient in here but the service and amenities do not allow its guests to forget the quaint charm of its host city.
