The teaser trailer of the highly anticipated new series, The Witcher, was dropped in Hall H at the San Diego International Comic-Con on Friday when star Henry Cavill previewed the teaser trailer for the room… and I am proud to say it is the stuff of dreams!!!

If you’re a huge fan of the fantasy genre, then you are sure to agree with me. Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, ‘The Witcher’ is more famously known as a video game. Either way, it is an epic tale of fate and family centered around famed monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia. Whether you are familiar with it or not, get ready to be introduced to the world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified.

Henry Cavill leads the cast of The Witcher saga, playing the role of Geralt of Rivia, alongside other main cast members, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri. Other previously announced cast members include Jodhi May as Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read as Sabrina, and Emma Appleton as Renfri, Eamon Farren as Cahir, Joey Batey as Jaskier, Lars Mikkelsen as Stregobor, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Maciej Musiał as Sir Lazlo, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte as Dara, and Anna Shaffer as Triss.
