Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande set the Video Music Awards (VMAs) stage on fire as they sang a medley of their hits.

Gaga opened the performance with “Chromatica II,” “911,” then an excellent rendition of “Rain on Me” with Grande. She then closed it with “Stupid Love.”

Gaga and Grande led this year’s nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards, with nine nominations each.

Both got seven nominations for their collab “Rain on Me,” including Video and Song of the Year, and Best Collaboration, Pop, Cinematography, Visual Effects, and Choreography.

Separately, Grande was also nominated for Best Collaboration and Music Video From Home for “Stuck With U” with Justin Bieber. Meanwhile, Gaga received nominations for Artist of the Year and Best Quarantine Performance for “Smile” from One World: Together At Home.

“Rain on Me” was awarded Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Cinematography. Grande won Best Music Video from Home, while Gaga won Artist of the Year and the MTV Tricon Award.
