WATCH: Filipina Impresses Judges at Korean Talent Show

We already know Filipinos are talented, and we have another name to add the growing list of Filipinos making a name abroad.

Meet Kriesha Tiu, or Chrisha Choo, who recently wowed judges at K-Pop Star 6, a reality show.

Tiu sang Urban Zakapa’s “I Don’t Love You” and danced to Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend.”

The judges, composed of YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun-suk, JYP Entertainment’s Park Jin-young, and Antenna Music’s You Hee-yeol, were so impressed that Yang said he would immediately sign her to YG Entertainment.

Tiu is based in South Korea and works as a trainee at the agency Urban Works ENT. She was in San Francisco, California when the company scouted her. Her family is originally from Cebu.

While working at the agency, she learned Korean, which also impressed the judges.

The winner of K-Pop Star 6 will be debuted and promoted by all three labels.
