Angel Locsin has been one of the many personalities who have been vocal about donating during the COVID-19 pandemic. Last March, she launched #UniTentWeStandPH, an initiative to help address overcrowding at hospitals during this crisis.

Last April 13, the actress and philanthropist shared a video on Instagram showing that the drive has raised a total of PP10,956,702.98. In the video, she also shows a breakdown of the expenses which includes the purchase of the 12×24-meter tents. With this, Angel said it is “mission accomplished” for her and the team.

She expresses her gratitude to everyone who donated to the drive and captions the video saying, “Because of your overwhelming support, we are happy to announce that we have sufficiently funded the #UniTENTweStandPH campaign.”

“With a full and grateful heart, we are now ending the fundraising and will no longer accept CASH donations through PayPal, Paymaya, or bank account,” she adds.
