Movie buffs will recognize a Wes Anderson film at once. Pastel colors, symmetry, and offbeat characters are classic Anderson moves, and the auteur is back with his new film, Isle of Dogs. A new trailer was released and you can watch it below:
As always, Isle of Dogs has an impressive cast, which contain his usual suspects: Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Tilda Swinton, Bran Cranston, Scarlett Johansson, Courtney B. Vance, Yoko Ono, Kunichi Nomura, Harvey Keitel, Akira Ito, Frances McDormand, Bob Balaban, Greta Gerwig, and Liev Schreiber.
Isle of Dogs tells the story of a young boy searching for his dog. It will be the director’s second animated feature following Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009.
The film is in partnership with a crowdfunding platform to raise funds for Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation, which protects and restores films. Fans can pay $10 to win prizes, including a set visit to the shooting of the movie.
Isle of Dogs will be released on February 15, 2018.
