Tom Cruise admitted on the Graham Norton Show that he and Jerry Bruckheimer are working out a “Top Gun” sequel!
Initially denying plans of a sequel, the actor eventually spilled the beans when Graham cornered him with a tweet from Bruckheimer, teasing the possibility of a Top Gun 2 film.
The tweet read:
“Just got back from a weekend in New Orleans to see my old friend @TomCruise and discuss a little Top Gun 2.”
Tom then fessed up, saying “Yes, we’re discussing it. We’re trying to figure it out”, amid cheers from the audience and Graham’s prodding.
Should the sequel push through, it would have been 30 years since Top Gun came out, so it would be interesting to see what plot line the next movie would pursue.
