Taylor Swift is just a gift that keeps on giving!
The 29-year-old singer dropped the news on her social media alongside a video of her adorable cats Meredith, Benjamin, and Olivia.
“When in doubt, ask the itty bitty pretty kitty committee. When they shun you with silence, ambivalence, and judgmental brush offs… just put the song out anyway,” she wrote.
She then announced that hew new song will be coming out “tonight” (aka SOON!) with an accompanying music video the following day which she says will be made out of home videos.

According to her interview with Good Morning America, Taylor wrote the song over the weekend and made it into something we know will be amazing in less than a week. This will be her first holiday release since her 2007 album “The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection.”
