American furniture store Pottery Barn has been leaving Filipinos everywhere confused this past week when they posted an item for sale on its website that looked like a bilao and was listed as a decorative art piece. But the most shocking thing about it was the price tag: a whopping US9 (roughly PHP 14.

“Now trending: Hawaiian-inspired layers. We love the oversized botanical motifs and artisanal craftsmanship of our handcrafted Hawaiian-inspired textiles,” it wrote.

Filipinos went on social media to share their thoughts on the expensive bilao, some of them making jokes about how they can just get one for free from local restaurants. “Sana manlang may pansit (It should have included pansit),” others joked.
