Finally, after 20 years, J-Pop Boyband Arashi has opened its own YouTube channel on Wednesday, October 9 and uploaded the music videos of its five most popular songs!
This is the first time Arashi, consisting of members Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya, and Jun Matsumoto, has made their music legal to stream online.
The songs they released are as follows: debut single A.Ra.Shi (1999), Happiness (2007), Truth (2009), Monster (2010) and the theme song to well-loved drama “Boys Over Flowers Returns”, Love So Sweet (2007).
Arashi has also made these available on Spotify and Apple Music in Japan.
As of writing, their YouTube channel has garnered over 1 Million subscribers.
However, neither the band nor its agency has issued a statement regarding the reason behind the release of these songs online and whether fans will expect more to come in the future.

Arashi will soon take an indefinite hiatus from the entertainment industry beginning 2021. According to leader Satoshi Ohno, he wants to take this time to pursue other interests.
