Golden Retriever Breaks World Record For Most Tennis Balls In Mouth

A certified Good Boy by the name of Finley has unofficially broken the world record for most tennis balls in a dog’s mouth.

The six-year-old golden retriever is able to fit an impressive 6 tennis balls inside his mouth, beating the previous Guinness World Record holder. Augie, another golden retriever, has held the title since 2003 by fitting 5 tennis balls inside his mouth.

Finley’s owners, Cheri and Rob Molloy of Ontario County, New York explained to the Democrat & Chronicle that they noticed his unusual ability when he was a pup of 2 years. He had come running up to them with 4 tennis balls in his mouth after a day by the lake.

However, Finley’s achievement is considered unofficial as the large amount of paperwork has stopped the pup from receiving the honor he deserves. Although his family has contacted Guinness officials already, the process remains long and arduous.

Despite no official recognition of his talent, Finley continues to live a happy life with his hoomans and all the love he receives from his 33,000 Instagram followers.
