AIESEC’s International Youth Leaders Conference: The Youth Living and Leaving Legacies

Global youth-run organization AIESEC believes that young individuals can transform their visions for a better world into their own legacies today. This March 21, 2014, the organization invites university students to its first International Youth Leaders Conference (IYLC) at the Samsung Hall, Taguig City.
The free one-day conference emphasizes that leadership is a journey worth taking for young individuals. By exploring the different levels of leadership that the youth can immerse themselves in, namely: self-leadership, community collaboration, and global movement, IYLC wishes to motivate and empower young people
IYLC recognizes the importance of the ability of young leaders inspiring like-minded young individuals to create a generation movement that will mobilize the change they wish to see in the world. The fun and youthful forum is a unique avenue with talks, collaborative workshops, and awards to instil a passionate disposition on leadership among young people.
The youth conference, with the theme “living a legacy, leaving a legacy,” will pioneer the AIESEC Leadership Awards that hopes to advocate, celebrate, and activate leadership by recognizing the youth’s thought front-runners and influencers from different fields that inspire positive change and impact through their strong and unshakeable ideals and leadership.

IYLC, like the Global Youth Summit and Philippines Youth to Business Forum, is among the several forums and conferences organized by AIESEC to provide the innovators of tomorrow leadership opportunities that instil active societal participation with a global mindset.
IYLC is part of the Asia Pacific Congress (APC), AIESEC’s largest regional conference with hundreds of international delegates from all over the globe. APC will be hosted this year by AIESEC Philippines with the hope of initiating the leadership engagement of every young person in the world.
