It seems that Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds isn’t allowing Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke to steal the spotlight from him on their shared birth date.
In a tweet he posted on October 23, Reynolds, who turned 44, jokingly announced that he had “moved” Clarke’s birthday to a much later date on account of it being “too crowded” for him.
“So sorry. I moved her birthday this year. It was feeling a little crowded for me,” he said in response to a greeting by his production company Maximum Effort to the 34-year-old actress.

He later revealed the date he had chosen to “reschedule” Clarke’s big day to be on February 29.
“Excited to announce February 29th as Emilia’s new birthday. Congratulations!” he said.

Although Reynolds didn’t share what his birthday plans were for the year, his wife Blake Lively shared a few snapshots and a funny story on her Instagram from when she complained about having to get him a “birthday pie” instead of a cake upon request.
“1) Who is the lost soul that selects birthday PIE. 2) What ANIMAL eats their cake (pie) without first blowing out the candles. @vancityreynolds that’s who. Happy Birthday. I honestly can’t believe we’re still married,” Lively wrote on her post.

Meanwhile, Clarke welcomed her 34th with a bang by embarking on a death-defying experience: skydiving.
“What could match the profound existential terror of another birthday? Jumping out of a goddamn plane is what,” she said.
