The Korean-show craze has no sign of slowing down in the Philippines. Just this Tuesday, February 11, South Korean TV Network SBS who is known for many top Korean shows such as My Love from The Star and Coffee Prince, signed a contract with GMA Network to co-produce a local version of the hit Korean variety show “Running Man”.
According to GMA News, this is the first co-production of SBS with a Philippine network.

Running Man is a Korean variety show that features celebrities playing games and completing missions, usually in city landmarks.
“Running Man Philippines” is said to be a localized version that will be incorporating much of the Filipino culture and will be featuring Pinoy celebrities.
The cast of Running Man is set to visit the Philippines this June to meet with their fans.
Running Man Philippines is expected to air in 2021.
