Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs, who were engaged for two years, are over.
According to Hollywood reports, RPattz and his lady love singer broke up due to conflicts in travel schedules, and it was Rob who initiated the breakup.
Their breakup surprised fans, especially after the Twilight alum revealed in an interview with Howard Stern that he was “kind of” still engaged, which must have meant a good thing, right? Kind of?
Just shortly after their split was announced, however, reports are surfacing that Robert is “leaning on” pop star Katy Perry for support! The two have always been good friends and it seems that they have gotten even closer since Rob’s breakup.
A source told E! News:
“They talk on the phone regularly and make sure to see each other when they both aren’t away working. Katy has always been a good friend to Rob over the years and has been there for him emotionally.”
“She wants to make sure he is doing okay. Rob knows how good of a friend she is and he was also there for her when she was going through her divorce. They lean on each other.”
Could they be dating, though? The source adds that while Rob has always had an interest in Katy, no one should read that much into their closeness.
