Parents as Learning Curators: A Quriocity Pop-Up Class

Quriocity-WhenInManila - Parents as Learning Curators Jan 30 2016

Travelling with children always has mixed reviews. Nothing can be more fun for everyone in the family than being together. But parents are also faced with challenges or even plain questions as to how family travels can be both fun and filled with learning. There isn’t any school for parents, but it doesn’t mean we can’t get together to freshly rediscover our role in the lives of our children. If you have a child between 2-7 years old and find yourselves together in holiday or business travels, join us on January 30 (Saturday) at 9 am. Learn how we can make the most out of our trips whether visiting a new cafe, a museum, a bookstore, or even a plain wonder-filled neighborhood in HK or Singapore perhaps. Yes we google our possible stops and sites to visit but the learning experiences we share with our children can go far beyond. Join us as parent/educator and Quriocity founder @eloquiambao curates the learning for us. Email fun@quriocity.org to reserve a slot.

About QURIOCITY

Quriocity is a very young indie store put up by WorldRoom for those who believe in wonder and embrace the heART of childhood. As such, we feature children’s books, picture books, and various “qurios” that celebrate both design and culture. We love sharing anything that we ourselves in the team are in love with. Our joys are simple but always heartfelt. Our hobbies are always learning-oriented but fun. Whatever we share with our bigger community is a treasure we first have discovered and chosen to believe in.

Because of this, Quriocity has also launched pop up classes. We believe that weekends are not just for heading to the malls in the absence of having something to do. Weekends also mean doing or being part of something that is both fun and enriching. Hence, the birth of #Quriocityclasses. You may follow us in either IG or FB though our excitement often comes out more in the former. 🙂
