After a miracle 120-103 win against the Portland Trail Blazers last Sunday, Andre Drummond slammed another double-double in his record book.

Drummond scored 29 points and 27 rebounds in their game against the Portland Trail Blazers, plus the double-digit scores he’s had in the last six games, he’s averaging an amazing 20.

3 points and 20.3 rebounds.

Because of Drummond’s double-double stats, people have seen him as similar to Huston Rockets’ Dwight Howard, who was the youngest in NBA history to average a double-double in the regular season.

Other than Drummond, only two other NBA stars achieved 20-20 stats in their first six games: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain.

The Detroit Pistons staged a comeback at the fourth quarter in their match against the Trail Blazers. Trailing behind by 13 points entering the fourth, the Pistons turned the tables for a monstrous upset win to end the game with a 17-point lead.

Reggie Jackson led the pack with a career-high total of 40 points – 26 points in the final quarter alone – and Drummond followed with 29 points.

The Pistons are scheduled to face the Golden State Warriors next, clashing against the splash brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
