Meet the Irish-Filipina Pop Songstress Playing the Opening Act for the Script Live in Manila Concert

Irish-Filipina pop songstress ANDREAH is back with a new single following the successful reception of her previous singles, “I Just Miss You,” which was featured in the Filipino hit TV show “He’s Into Her”, “Best Friend,” and most recently “Let Me Go Easy which to date has already garnered 945,000 views on Youtube.

A love-pop ballad, “So Far Away” by ANDREAH is now available on all streaming platforms distributed by Ivory Music and Video. The release of her single is also the same day as her performance as the opening act during the concert of The Script in Manila.

Having acquired over three and a half million streams to date and over 160,000 monthly listeners on the popular music streaming platform, Spotify, the singer-songwriter shares that the track was inspired by being completely in-love with a person; she states that “it’s the feeling of being with a person that makes you feel like you’re the only girl in the entire universe – which includes the moon and mars”.

The song came to life after she was on a musical hiatus – COVID hit and she lost a lot of inspiration. ANDREAH claims that she “only writes songs from personal experiences” – COVID, unfortunately, “stripped her of teenage experiences”, which she states includes a lot of “love, heartbreak, and mistakes”. After the first year of the pandemic, she moved to the UK for a year in which she fell extremely hard for the person – the hiatus had finally ended and ‘So Far Away” came to life.

ANDREAH has collaborated with LA-based producer, Justin Stanley, again on this new pop ballad.  He claims that the lyrics are “magical” and that the lines “kiss me under the stars, to the moon and mars” are what’s going to make people completely fall in love with the song. Justin has previously produced the likes of Paul McCartney, Prince, Eric Clapton, Beck, Sheryl Crow, Leonard Cohen, and Snoop Dogg.

“So Far Away” by ANDREAH will be available on all platforms on 23 September 2022.

Before the pandemic, ANDREAH has opened for immense names in music including Sam Smith, The Script, Air Supply, 911, The Hara, and Roadtrip. She has also performed at several festivals, including Neon Lights in Singapore, Party in the Park in Dubai, London Barrio Fiesta, and Its A Girl Thing in Manila.

Being a gifted and prolific songwriter, ANDREAH has recently been signed by Sony Music Publishing, to a worldwide Publishing deal.

ANDREAH also plans to release more singles during 2022, as well as an EP in early 2023.
