Ryza Cenon greeted fans and friends on the morning of July 1 with a surprise announcement: her pregnancy!
The xx-year-old actress shared a series of photos on her post beginning and ending with her showing off her 5-month baby bump. “It’s the small moments that make life big. Happiness is on the way,” she wrote, adding the hashtags ‘prayer answered,’ ‘God’s gift,’ and ‘new journey.’

She also revealed who the father of her child is: Miguel Antonio Cruz, a cinematographer from Bacolod City, whom she met last June 2019. Speaking to PEP.ph, Ryza shared why she had decided to keep her relationship private after her publicized breakup with former beau Cholo Barretto.
“Parang before, di ba, yung naging relationship ko na non-showbiz. Parang ngayon, ganun na lang din po ang ginawa ko. Kasi po si Miguel, private rin po kasi na tao, kaya nirerespeto ko yun,” she said.
[Translation: It’s just like before, right, when I had a non-showbiz relationship. Now, I just did the same thing. Miguel is also a private person, so I respected that.]
