LOOK: PH Eagle Released into The Wild After Being Healed

Valentine’s Day may be well on its way, but our love for nature will never fade. With the Philippines’ lush forests and oceans, and rich biodiversity, what’s not to love about our country’s natural beauty? Every time we hear news of a sea turtle being saved by responsible beach goers or an eaglet successfully hatching, our hearts swell with so much pride for the people who make these little miracles happen.

Just a few days ago, a Philippine Eagle was released back into the wild at Maitum, Sarangani Province after it made its recovery after being wounded. In the video, the bird of prey jumps out of the cage and turns back to the audience and squawks a few times before turning the opposite direction and finally flying off into the forest.
