Graffiti has a bad reputation for being disruptive, but those are the ones whose sole purpose is to vandalize. The artists who take graffiti seriously are those who aim to make a space prettier or push a political or social statement – even without the permission of the government or the proprietor. Banksy is the most popular graffiti artist out there (even if he is anonymous), but in the Philippines, artists like the Cavity Collective, Gerilya, Dee Jae Pa’este, and that guy who stencils the word “why” are making Manila more colorful.

We’re not sure who did this, but Thefanboyseo Facebook page spotted a piece of graffiti on the pedestrian lane between Ortigas Park and Podium.

According to Thefanboyseo:

Somebody in Ortigas is a graffiti and gaming geek. Also isnt that T-Rex from Google Chrome? Or was that Mozilla? Spotted on the pedestrian lane between Ortigas Park and Podium.

It looks so cool! We hope artists like these make the concrete jungle more colorful with their works.
