Did you know that Angel Locsin and Neil Arce didn’t actually have wedding rings when they tied the knot in a civil ceremony last August 2021?
Apparently, the former Darna had just used her engagement ring while her then-fiancé borrowed a random one from his son during the nuptial, which didn’t seem like a huge problem for the down-to-earth couple. It’s only half a year later when Angel finally received a proper wedding ring—and as a Valentine’s Day gift from her husband too!
Angel shared pictures from their pre-Valentine’s Day dinner on Sunday, February 13, starting off with the photo of her and Neil holding up their hands.

“Sabi ko simplehan lang! May pa-wedding ring si Mr. Arce. Finally, may wedding ring na rin kami. (I told him to keep it simple! Mr. Arce bought us wedding rings. Finally, we now have wedding rings.) Thank you my love,” she wrote.
In a separate post, Angel gave fans and friends a closer look at the ring. “Bagay ba? (Does it suit me?)” she said.

Neil likewise posted a photo of his wife on his Instagram page and penned this sweet message: “My favorite human. Wala ka na choice kasal na tayo may date ka na tuwing Valentine’s. (You have no choice, we’re married, you now have a date for Valentine’s forever.) I Love you!”
He was also able to capture Angel’s reaction upon opening the box which held their rings. She looks very happy!
