Ready your heart, some comfort food, and a box of tissues because the heartbreaking sequel of the well-loved local film Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa (2009) is coming to Netflix.
Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa, directed by Nestor Abrogena Jr., follows the story of a young filmmaker and an aspiring writer who both struggle to maintain their romantic relationship as they each try to overcome their personal struggles. It stars Nicco Manalo and Emmanuelle Vera.
The much-awaited sequel, titled Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon, came out exactly 10 years after and is set five years after the couple’s breakup. As one could expect, it’s just as tearjerking as the first movie as the two, having coincidentally run into each other one day, grapple with the pain of yearning for someone they can never have.
