LOOK: 3-month-old baby beats COVID-19

San Fernando City Mayor Alfredo Pablo Ortega recently announced the successful recovery of a 3-month-old baby boy from COVID-19. The baby is the youngest COVID-19 case in the city as well as its 4th recovered patient.

The La Union baby was confined at the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center. He was admitted last April 27 when he tested positive for the virus. His first negative test result came out last May 13 and was confirmed by a second negative test result last May 19.

After spending some time in the city’s isolation center, he was discharged this Wednesday, May 20.

San Fernando City, La Union currently has no confined COVID-19 patients. They have 52 probable cases and 118 suspect cases.
