I must say, my HUAWEI Matebook 13 from last year was a lifesaver for it truly helped me become more efficient with my work-from-home scenario. My HUAWEI ecosystem transition last year came at just the right time and I’d like to thank my HUAWEI family for supporting me on this all the way. Last year was very tough for me but at least my work-from-home scenario was the area that I least needed to worry about. And yeah, I’m still very much satisfied with its performance until now. I think my only comment is that I wish it had more storage for my video files since I do a lot of editing.

Yup, one thing I love about the Matebook series is its high-precision multi-touch screen feature. With this, I can easily scroll my social feed, photos, select and even zoom in and out using my fingers. I can also take screenshots by swiping them down with my 3 fingers.

HUAWEI Sharkfin Dual Fan
To further support the 11th Gen Intel Core processor, HUAWEI also upgraded its thermal design with a new thermal architecture featuring two HUAWEI Sharkfin fans and two heat pipes to keep the HUAWEI Matebook 14 2021 cool even when it is under load. The Matebook 14 2021 also feature HUAWEI’s signature Fingerprint Power Button that lets you open and access your laptop in just one simple step. Simple, fast and secure!
It also has a recessed camera which you can conveniently click to hide or reveal as you please. To be honest though, I’m not a fan of this feature since the camera angle is too low that I get reminded of my double and soon to be triple chin. LOL
Sync Flawlessly with other HUAWEI Devices with HUAWEI Share
Last but not least, is the HUAWEI Share and Multi-Screen Collaboration feature which users can use to sync their other devices on their Matebook 14 2021. With this feature, you can share your files in your phone and tablet with just a single tap. You can also operate your smartphone and even make calls using your laptop. This feature has made my life easier since I don’t need to always check on my phone anymore. With this, I only need to focus at 1 screen to access my other devices.
Overall, I think this is a cool and powerful laptop to have to future-proof my smart office for the expected work load ahead. I just wish they also have a 1TB storage option so I can install more programs and save more video files. But if you don’t have heavy video files like I do, then the Mate 14 2021 makes an ideal all-around laptop for work and entertainment. I heard it’s also the best choice among other 11th Core laptops.
