McLisse Jameson

After a successful love team that spawned a strong fandom, McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson called it quits last year. Fans were saddened about the news, but it seems like they have moved on with their separate lives. De Leon told reporters G! Movie blogcon that he’s happy now because he has work.

[“There comes a point when I miss having a love team. Fans saw everything we did. I admit that it’s a bit still now. Just steady. I told myself, ‘I used to be an extra, why should I hope for more?’ For me, I’m okay with having projects that my family can watch. I don’t need to be super famous.”]

Joson is also busy with work and one thing more, a blossoming romance with Jameson Blake, de Leon’s co-member in the group Hashtags. Blake and de Leon are also co-stars in the movie G!

De Leon admitted that he was surprised when he heard the news. “Ako siguro masaya at malungkot.

[“I was both happy and sad. Sad because I got to used to being around her so much. I’m also happy because because’s happy.”]

However, he clarified that he has no hard feelings.

[“I know the person she’ll be with and I know he will take care of her. Why would I be mad at people who are happy?”]

De Leon added that he has a good relationship with Blake.

[“There’s no problem. Actually, this movie didn’t ruin our friendship, it made it even better. Our friendship got stronger.”]
