Get a grand view of Baler on Ermita Hill and soak in the pacific ocean sight here. High places always refresh you so this is one great place to just bask in God’s beauty.

5. Lukso Lukso Islets

I loved this part because the water was clearer and it seems more like a swimming beach.  It was HOT that day but made it all the better to splash and walk on crystal waters.  Rock formations made for lovely foregrounds in photography.

6.  Dona Aragon House/Church/Museo de Baler

Travel the city on a tricycle and check out Museo De Baler which houses the town’s history. Do you know that President Maneul Quezon was born in Baler?  He has a restored presidential car among the museums artefacts.

7.  Rolling Store (turo-turo)

Located just beside the local Museum, no Baler surf trip is complete with a trip to true blue dining turo-turo style.  It isn’t called rolling store for nothing – some time back these were food carts on wheels that would literally roll in to the area for lunch, and roll out when everything’s gone.  Try out the “lutong-bahay” goodness cooked baler-style.

8.  Gerry Shan’s buffet

On just Php185 per head you get their budget eat & drink all you can buffet. With over 20 dishes to choose from, you definitely will come out satisfied & full. Top that buffet deal in Manila!  Only in Baler.  Also just a tricycle drive away from the beach it’s so easy to get there once your tummy gets grumbling.

This itinerary is good to go for a 2-3 day trip when all you want to do is surf, soak up the scenery & savour the cuisine.
