Gretchen Ho creates a quarantine workout using household items

With gyms closed during quarantine, people are now trying to find different ways to workout at home. A lot of fitness gurus have already posted their at-home workouts for other people to try. Many have gotten creative, using different items to substitute for weights and gym equipment.

One of the fun ways you can substitute gym equipment is by using household items! TV host and athlete Gretchen Ho recently posted a home quarantine workout on her Instagram, using items that can be found just around your home.

In this fun workout, she incorporated different household items like a sack of rice, bottles of cooking oil, and a palanggana to substitute for weights. She came up with eight different exercises to do for a balanced workout.

She also said that the most important thing to remember is to stay disciplined and healthy with your workouts. It’s important to keep a schedule and show up to your workouts so you can burn those COVID-19 fats!
