Gretchen Barretto has responded to the viral photo taken of her holding hands with businessman Atong Ang while they were sleeping on the plane.
On Instagram, she explained: “Unaware I crossed [a] over a bit much. This photo was sent through direct message. I’m being asked to react. It is clear I was asleep on a plane ride.”
Gretchen, who is now in San Francisco, also reacted to another set of photos captured of her with Ang at the airport.
“Nothing wrong with these photos,” she wrote. “Fully clothed, no naked photos like of Marjorie Itchie-very.”
The viral photos surfaced after Marjorie’s televised tell-all interview with Karen Davila on TV Patrol where she alleged that Gretchen “stole” Ang away from their niece Nicole, who claims to be Ang’s ex-girlfriend of 5 years.
Ang has denied the allegations that he had a romantic relationship with Nicole, saying that she was merely his former employee. He also denied having any ties with Gretchen and explained that she and her longtime partner Tonyboy Cojuangco were his business partners.
