After the Philippine-Australia basket-brawl, it was quite mistimed that some Gilas Pilipinas players were seen taking a selfie.
It was an act that immediately got the attention of many. On social media, former NBA player Andrew Bogut expressing his disbelief.

In lieu of this, Marc Pingris took responsibility and posted an apology on Instagram for taking the untimely selfie.
He captioned it with, “Sorry po,”
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Gilas Pilipinas coach Chot Reyes said, ““If I saw it, I would have stopped it maybe so that there would be no misinterpretation.”
