DISCOVERING BINONDO

Part of our stay was an exclusive tour around Binondo while it is in the height of welcoming the Chinese New Year! We started it with a guided map to all the hot-spots and to star the day off, we went to some of Ramada’s partner establishments in which you can avail discounts and treats!

We first dropped by the Dong Bei Dumpling store at 642 Yuchengco St. to check out their hand-made dumplings! It was such a joy to watch them make these dumplings from scratch and of course, to devour it in big quantities! 😛

 

We continued our adventure by walking along the streets of Binondo and surely, we would often meet dragon dancers, street dancers, and generally: joyful and vibrant splashes of gold and red hues here and there. I swear that in those moments, I didn’t feel like I was in the Philippines at all… it totally felt like I was transported into China! Everything and everyone were so festive!

 

Surely, we wouldn’t miss out on dropping by the Binondo Church during our adventure around Binondo. Apparently, the church was newly renovated and it was lovely to see the beautifully-painted ceilings.

 

Before the night was upon us, we dropped by the new Lucky Chinatown Mall to shop and to check out the different affairs that were happening!

 

As midnight was approaching, we quickly headed back to the Ramada Hotel to position ourselves at Luna. Why so? Because of course, it was time to greet the Year of the Snake!

Different establishments especially that of the Lucky Chinatown Mall have set off such grandeur and colorful fireworks worthy enough to welcome the start of a promising year and Luna’s was definitely the perfect spot for us to witness all of these!

 

All in all, it’s an understatement to say that we had a really great time experiencing the welcoming of the Chinese New Year! It was actually my first time for such a celebration and the Ramada Manila Central Hotel made it worthwhile and memorable! It made me even more aware of the wonders that Binondo can offer; so When in Manila and looking for an involvement and immersion into the Binondo grandeur, book now and quick to the Ramada Manila Central!
