It seems that Joe Jonas has let slip during a radio interview that My Chemical Romance is preparing for a reunion.
The Jonas Brothers were the guests of KISS FM Breakfast Show last Friday to talk about their latest album Happiness Begins. However, Joe Jonas took the liberty of spilling the tea on something else entirely that has left fans freaking out.
“I’ve got some dirt,” Joe Jonas said in the interview. “My Chemical Romance were apparently rehearsing next to us in New York recently, which — I thought they broke up, so…that’s the gossip!”
This news, of course, comes as a surprise after Gerard Way denied any possibility of the band ever getting back together back in an interview with The Guardian back in February.

“When things start to succeed and go really well, that’s when a lot of people start to have an opinion and that’s when you run into struggle,” he said. “Everybody had a f***ing opinion about what MCR should be. So it made it difficult to figure out what direction to take next. You get caught up in this trap of ‘Is it ever gonna be good enough?’ It wasn’t fun to make stuff anymore. I think breaking up the band broke us out of that machine.”
“We definitely get offers regularly to reunite — it’s a constant thing. It’s flattering, it’s really nice of people. I miss playing with the guys, but I don’t think so,” he added.

So, is an MCR reunion really happening? We’ll just have to take Joe Jonas’s word for it and hope for the best!
