Crossfire Philippines recently launched its year-long eSports tournament format that primarily aims to rank competitive Crossfire players while rewarding them for their consistent tournament participation and gaming skills.
The eSports cup will be divided to 3 different leagues, namely the Regional Qualifiers, Challenger Series and Elite League. The top of 16 teams in the country based on points accumulated during the Philippine cup would then qualify for the prestigious Crossfire Stars National Finals to be held in SMX MOA Convention Center in September. This is all to determine the winning team that would represent our country in the Crossfire tournament in China. The Winner will win $10,000 (P446,000). Beyond the monetary rewards, the title as the Crossfire National Finals Winner surely suffices any gamer’s ultimate dream!
Before the Grand finals at SMX. There will be 3 separate tournaments in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao that will feature the current top 6 teams.
The first Elite League will take place in Pampanga, Luzon. The Crossfire Elite League Luzon will be on April 29-May 1. The actual tournament is on April 30, 2016 at the SM City Pampanga, The Trade Hall. The winning team in this tournament will bag 250,000 pesos. Participants in the said event will be given VIP treatment as Crossfire Philippines will cover flights costs, accommodation, food, and consequently move onto the Crossfire National Finals.
