Come in Your Wackiest Costume in this Fun Triathlon this September

Filipinos have been hooked with the idea of having physical activities as an avenue for a healthier lifestyle, as well as an outlet to relieve all the stress and toxicity they feel each day. Nowadays, you will notice a great number of people who are previously runners, or cyclists, or even swimmers who challenge themselves and combine these sports into one sporting activity— triathlon.

Triathlon is known to be one of the hardest sports which tests one’s physical strength as well as the mental capability to endure all the pain. But with all of these impressions about the multi-sport event, the UPLB Trantados Triathlon Club surely makes it lighter and more enjoyable to all who are aspiring to be called a triathlete.

Celebrating its 20th founding year, the UPLB Trantados is bringing you their 15th Beginner’s Costume Fun Triathlon event.

There are three exciting events; First is the Mini-sprint Distance of a 400-Meter Swim, 18-Kilometer Bike, and 3-Kilometer Run; Second is the shortened Kids racecourse event with 200-Meter Swim, 3-Kilometer Bike, and 1.5-Kilometer Run; And lastly, the relay event. The race will be held this September 28, 2019, at the University of the Philippines Los Baños Baker Hall grounds in Laguna. Participants are encouraged to bring out their creativity and wear the wackiest costume.

And to complete the fun, podium finishers and all the participants will be treated at the after-party which will be held at IC’s Bar.

Be ready to deal with these one of a kind Trantados triathletes with a moniker of “50% Triathlete, 50% Alcohol.”
