The rumors have been confirmed. After a week of creating a buzz online, it has now been made official, Atom Araullo is moving to GMA 7.
The former ABS-CBN journalist’s move was revealed on the primetime news show 24 Oras.
Mel Tiangco, Arnold Clavio, and Vicky Morales revealed it via the introduction of a segment with vague descriptions of a “returning news personality.”

According to Atom, he made this move because he wanted to learn more as a journalist.
He also shared his passion for creating documentaries and he feels that he feels that GMA 7 is great in creating them. Atom’s first project is to talk about the state, issues, and challenges of Philippine seas. He will also host the documentary show i-Witness.
