Apple made the announcement last week that the free trial to use its programs Final Cut Pro X, a video editing software, and Logic Pro X, a music production software, has been extended to 90 days from the usual 30 days for an unspecified period of time.

Apple believes that offering the free use of these services will greatly help students and professionals who are working from home amid the quarantines set by their city governments to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.

The free trial of Final Cut Pro X is now available worldwide. Meanwhile, the free trial for Logic Pro X will be rolled out within the coming days.

Final Cut Pro X is priced at US$299 (approximately PHP15,300) while Logic Pro X is priced at US$ 199 (approximately PHP10,200).
