LOOK: All-in-One Japanese Food Spot Yaki Yaki Just Opened a New Food Truck

If you’re looking for a Japanese food trip that offers a wide variety of selections and won’t break the bank, you might want to visit this new food truck that opened up inside UP Diliman.

Yaki Yaki is a relatively new food brand with over 30 locations within just 2 years of opening! They’re known for being the ultimate Japanese food trip with their wide array of Japanese dishes, with the highlight being the “Yaki Yaki” which is takoyaki and yakisoba all in one serving (starting at PHP 125).

This February, they opened their first food truck concept in a new food hub on the University of the Philippines Diliman campus.

We loved the design of Yaki Yaki’s new food truck because it even has seating and dining tables on top of the truck, so customers can enjoy a refreshing view and the cool breeze.

We also got to try some of their bestselling dishes, including their famous takoyaki. Their takoyaki was perfectly cooked–it’s got that crispiness on the outside and fluffiness on the inside.

They also had a wide variety of takoyaki flavors, including Cheesy Pork Floss, Scallop Cheesemelt, and Cheesy Bacon.

If you think takoyaki and yakisoba are the only dishes you’ll enjoy at Yaki Yaki, you’re in for a treat. They also have crispy and delicious pork and chicken katsu, three ramen varieties, and bento boxes that already include yakisoba, takoyaki, your choice of either pork or chicken katsu, and savory “yaki rice”.

Yaki Yaki also has a milk bar with handcrafted milk beverages of different flavors including blueberry, strawberry, and mango.

Anyone looking for an affordable food trip will definitely love Yaki Yaki, especially with their massive menu of Japanese dishes starting at 45 pesos! Of course, the relaxing food truck experience in one of their newest branches is worth visiting, too.
