Actress Iza Calzado just announced that she will be taking time off from social media. This is to prepare for the birth of her daughter with her husband, entrepreneur Ben Wintle.
“We humbly ask for love and prayers as we enter this new chapter of our lives. Will be taking a short social media break as I go through matrescence and experience its joys and challenges,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post.
The couple, who tied the knot in August 2018, shared the news that they are expecting a baby girl back in November last year. As her due date approaches, it seems that they could not contain their excitement in welcoming their first child any longer. “We are so excited to meet you and hug you, little one! You are so loved,” she added.

In another post, the 40-year-old actress posed in a maternity shoot by BJ Pascual. The theme? Amihan–her famous role from GMA’s TV series “Encantadia” (2005). The Sang’gre was dolled up with makeup by Lala Flores and hair by Renz Pangilinan, and styled by Katrina Cruz-Villanueva and John Karunungan. “She’s giving Sanggre vibes,” she wrote in the caption.

We recall Iza saying that Amihan is one of her favorite roles during the media launch of “K-Love”. “K-Love”, on the other hand, is a Viu Original series about modern-day Filipinas where she stars alongside Jake Cuenca, Sue Ramirez, Isabelle Daza, and Gabby Padilla.
