If you grew up with the animated series of Batman, then you’ve heard Kevin Conroy voice him throughout the years. In fact, he voiced the Caped Crusader for three whole decades in dozens of TV series, movies, and video games. Sadly, he passed away last Thursday at New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital. He was 66 years old.

His husband, Vaughn Williams, has confirmed that Conroy died of intestinal cancer. Our prayers are with him and his distinct voice will live on in our hearts and in his work forever.
