FFK Projects donation drive initiative for the purpose of donating reams of bond papers and printer inks is reaching out to individuals, organizations, and businesses to help us successfully fill in a gap between our learners and their education.
Together let’s extend our hands to our chosen beneficiaries — students and teachers of Lumban and Pagsanjan Laguna. FFK are far from reaching their fundraising goal amounting to Php 200,000 allotted for the donation of reams of bond papers and printer inks for module printing in accordance with today’s crisis—the COVID 19 pandemic, which has a huge impact in the education sector. Students together with their teachers are struggling with the new alternative learning with the execution of online classes. Another option was provided for others who lack resources essential for online classes like laptops and smartphones, the modular learning. Unfortunately, some of our teachers can’t keep up due to lack of finances. There are funds from educational institutions but it is not enough to provide modules for students for the whole school year. “Yung mommy ko teacher din. Nagsimula sya magprint kahapon ng modules. 8 subjects ang bata. 2 subjects pa lang naiprintnya. Grabe 5,250 pages or 11 reams ang naconsume. Walang bigay na supplies ang school nun ha. Kaya kung wala donation. Mamumulubi talaga mga teachers”, stated by one of our beneficiaries.
This donation drive will be of help to our students and teachers for the whole school year of 2020-2021. A long list of contributors— individuals, organizations and businesses— have donated a total of Php 12,028 for the first month of the donation drive.
The scheduled date of the distribution of donations for Batch 1— Liceo de Pagsanjan (Pagsanjan, Laguna) and Lumban National High School (Lumban, Laguna) is on September 23, 2020. For Batch 2— Lumban Senior High School and Wawa Elementary School (Lumban, Laguna) is on October 23, 2020. One month interval for distributions to gather more donations for the second batch. It goes on for the whole academic year.
With our students’ and teachers’ mental health and finances on the line, let us take part. Your generous help can make a huge impact. Our plan is not only to be our beneficiaries’ helping hand but also to be their friend in this crying times. We are students too but that doesn’t change our willingness to help and contribute to the community. It is not that complicated, but it takes time. We need to look for partners, sponsors and even resources for this to be made possible. FFK Projects believes that life is about making an impact. What’s happening now is not how we picture the world. We aim to change all the “what is” to “what should be”. We want to inspire the youth, no matter how small or big an act is, what values is the impact on someone’s life. If we are to truly impact change the time to act is now.
Bilang mga mag-aaral, alam namin ang hirap na kinakaharap ng mga katulad namin upang makaraos sa pandemiyang ito. Ang TintaPel ay proyektong naglalayon na makapagbahagi ng mga printer inks at bond papers sa mga paaralang nabanggit sa itaas upang makasabay sa tinatawag nating “alternative learning system” ngayong panahon ng “New Normal”. Ang TintaPel ay ‘di lamang po namin proyekto, kundi proyekto ng bawat isa sa atin sa ikakabuti ng mga estudyante at nang maibsan kahit papaano ang bigat na dinadala ng ating mga guro. Kaya taos puso po kaming humihingi ng malasakit para sa ating mga mag-aaral at mga guro sa pamamagitan po ng pagbibigay ng donasyon.

We will be contacting our donors regarding the schedule for pick up of the donation. We can pick up donations from Lumban, Pagsanjan and Sta. Cruz, Laguna area only due to lack of funds and resources. For donors outside the area from where we can pick up in kind donations, we humbly suggest two options. They can either send it via courier (JRS Express, J&T and LBC) or donate the amount of your proposed in kind donations through our donation channels.
