Hooray for more LGBTQ+ representation! Especially for Christmas!!!
Director and writer Clea DuVall always wanted to see a holiday movie that was representative of her experience so she took matters into her own hands: She made one! And we couldn’t be happier! The movie stars Kristen Stewart of Charlie’s Angels fame and Mackenzie Davis, who you may know from But I’m A Cheerleader. The movie is about Abby (Kristen Stewart) and Harper (Mackenzie Davis), a couple, and how Abby wants to propose to Harper but learns about her ultra-conservative family and how Harper hasn’t even come out yet!

I can’t wait to see this! Even Kristen Stewart talked about wanting to see something like this for her whole life. “I think I’ve wished to see a gay Christmas rom com my whole life… I’m so happy and proud of Clea for bringing this into the world,” Kristen Stewart told People Magazine.
